In April we will be reading The Boston Girl by Anita Diamant. The Meeting date for April is Tuesday the 26th.  Anita Diamant will be speaking at the Beech St. Center in Belmont as part of the One Book One Belmont programing so we will go listen to her that evening instead of having a discussion in the Belmont campus building.

Publisher’s Weekly called the book “a stunning look into the past with a plucky heroine readers will cheer for.” Best-selling author Anita Diamant, author of The Red Tent and Day After Night, will read from and talk about her most recent novel, “The Boston Girl.” Author Stephen McCauley (“The Object of My Affection,” “Insignificant Others”) will introduce her and her work.

After a Q&A session, books will be available for purchase and signing.

Our May book will be A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson.

We will meet at our regular time on Tuesday May 24th at 7:30 in the Belmont Parlor.
